The Their Past Your Future Commemorative Visits Programme was organised and led by the Imperial War Museum between 2004 and 2006. It provided hundreds of young people with learning experiences they will never forget.

Visiting a huge range of destinations related to the Second World War, the scheme provided an opportunity for exploration of the impact of this conflict on people and places around the world.

Participants:

  • 544 young people from across the UK
  • 96 teachers and youth group leaders
